Donkey Kong and the Smashed Brothers

I have to say that the cat Mario implementation was spot on Yes, it was so good. Do you think this was a direct reference to smash brothers or do you think it was? Donkey Kong It was a reference to donkey kong with powerups. I really wish that we would get a uh like one time last ditch which addition to smash brothers and get this arena.
