The patriarchal blessing is one of those rare moments in a young person's life when he or she actually identifies, i'm having spiritual experience. It was as if for a moment, the veil lifted for this random teen age boy, and i caught a glimpse of who i really was. My blessing changed my life and perception of myself in the eyes of god. That is one of the powers of patriarchal blessings.
