After George Foy discovers how loud his life is, he sets out to find some silence. Zero decibels is actually the level at which a hundred sample of a hundred people without hearing loss stop hearing anything. Even if you go into the farthest reaches of space, particles exist even in deep space and sound is particles rubbing against each other, creating waves. All our universe, apparently, is suffused with actual measurable music, although we couldn't possibly hear it with our ears.
