Over the past 50 or 70 years or so, we've had hundreds of new pathagans. About 60 % of these new pathagins are come from the bodies of animals. And that's not strange; almost many, many of our infectious diseases come from animals. The speed at which we're seeing these new pathages emerge to day is because our expansion has reached a 'tipping point' We have paid over half of the terrestrial surface of the planet and added another 22% in just last 20 years for our farms. Our industrial activities also impact on species extinction with every day losing about 50 species.
