I don't think like the sort of crossfire false balance model is something anybody in particular wants. The only way to acid test your assumptions about the world is they get competing points of view. If all you're doing is watching Fox News or MSNBC all day, you will get radically different understandings of what the universe is. But on certain high frequency cultural issues, you'll get a really bad misreading of the national mood and understanding of certain issues. And I just don't, I think there's just precious few people who do that.
