British writers are not on strike as yet but American made shows being filmed in Britain are in trouble because they can really only continue if their scripts are already locked down. One area where opportunities might present themselves for some people is the cost of producing TV in the UK and film has gone up enormously. If American companies have to put a pause on their production for a while because of this strike we're going to see those prices go down.
