The Importance of China in the Middle East
The more Iranian barrels that they can import without fear of sanctions or without having to do shady things in order to acquire it is good for them. They don't care about all these internecine squabbles in the Middle East. They just want access to their resources and then they want to go home. But yes, I would imagine that China sees better ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia as a good thing. The country that should be hating all of this is Russia because Russia's entire thing here has been, oh, we're going to build a new corridor.
