The Role of Full Spectrum Doulas in Pregnancy
The book is about the idea of a kind of full spectrum pregnancy. It takes all these things into account and doesn't kind of privilege one over the other. I was looking particularly at the work of, they're called the douler project in New York. They started out as abortion doulers and ended up extending their services to offer support and care for all kinds of pregnancies or endings. And so there's inspiration that we can take at the broader level when we're kind of fighting for reproductive justice and reproductive freedom," she says.
