The Ego Is an Existential Threat
I don't think there is such a thing as a final state of enlightenment. The ego doesn't take waking up, lying down. It's an existential threat to its sense of having to make real itself an other. And that is the incredibly dangerous and why so many kind of these spiritual communities have collapsed. I think it was mainly control, power trips, dynamics.
