Is the Semi Using 4680 Battery Cells in the Tesla Semi?
The semi doesn't use 4680s. So the question then becomes what batteries are in the Tesla semi here in this initial run of production? Is it the 2170s or the 18650s? I am going to guess and admittedly it is just that a guess that it's the 2 170s. And so yeah, it might as well use Model 3 battery packs as well. The Roadster was not even mentioned on this earnings call.
