I've Never Met a Veteran Soldier Before the War, Right?
I've met people who were regular soldiers before the war, but they're fewer and fewer. The vast majority of people I'm seeing now were not soldiers until quite recently. They have literally just seen their mates get blown to pieces in front of them. These guys don't look like raw recruits anymore. Some units have reputations for being great aggressive throws in the front. But standards of discipline and cleanliness are a lot to be desired.
