With the alito culture there is a shift in scale, that things get much bigger. The elites are able to find a more powerful basis for their legitimacy. So of course, there was political and religious power embedied in those bronze vessels. And ther there some kind of belief system the bronze they have special meaning. At least wellt and political power intertwined together.
