He says that when you humiliate someone, he's going to imilate himself some one else. When he comes home at the end, the only person that he can dominate is his wife or his children. So it's also a lot about this question of domination,. The fact that you always have to dominate someoney ifect. That's so interesting. But in your novel, matilde also has that ambiguity andta greyness. It's not simply a case of having left the place she calls home and having and
