Gene Seymour: I was in my own little world. Jeffrey Lewis: Almost all of the war scare is totally self-inflicted, which makes it like really darkly comic. Seymour: If that's true, then a story about a nuclear near miss plus about 40 years should be fucking hilarious. It sounds crazy that we could have had a serious nuclear crisis that nobody knew about. Like, that's nuts.
