The Challenge of Conviction in Asset Management

There's a lot of great managers out there that you know raise cash and do the right things. And then there's, you know, back in 2008, one of the most brilliant guys on on Wall Street who has lagged for 19 years because he's been very conservative heads. So we have to set aside those convictions and say, I'm convicted to the idea that valuations are expensive and markets are going to have a zero rate of return whatever your conviction is. But that's not happening so I've got to do this over here. That's what markets are doing."
