How to Negotiate With Elephants
Joshua Plotnik: How do you then approach negotiating with or resolving a conflict with those animals? How does that shift how we figure out something like human elephant conflict? Yeah. So what we're thinking about is trying to come up with mitigation strategies that aren't meant to scare the elephants away, but are meant to focus on the decisions that the elephants are making. Now, we don't know if this will work, but at least it's an approach that tries to take both the human and the wildlife perspective into account.
