Cave 19 was used to forecast tourist numbers for the next five years. The pandemic destroyed any credibility that our casts had, so we started again. We needed a very different forecasting approach involving judgmental methods as well as some statistical counter fact methods. And then we combined those to then come up with some overall forecast that we gave to the government to help them plan the recovery.
