The Romans and the Passover

Hundreds of thousands of people are trapped inside the city of jerusalem who didn't normally live there. The romans build a wall around the wall so that nobody can come in and out. People slowly starve. They break through the outer wall, and they get into the temple. In a final act of defiance against the inhabitants of the city, they bring in three sacrifices. One of them is a pig that they offer to desecrate the temple. And then this is the death of the city.
