If it is the case that he wants to kill the Nazis, she's not necessarily committing him to that. She's not saying that any one of those intentions overrides them. And so you could speak of there being one intention, not there being four intentions. It really just depends how remote the thing like if you said, what are you doing? I'm freeing the country. Well, that's a big step. But most likely in any real situation, even if you hope this will free the country, you're not really sure of that.
