Adam Walsh's Case Changed America
John and Ravey Walsh became victims' advocates almost immediately after their son's death. They lobbied hard for the Missing Children's Act, which required law enforcement to enter missing children data into the FBI database. The Walsh's are also responsible for the creation of Code Adam, which was adopted by major retailers in the mid to late 90s.
