What Is the Difference Between Gnap and Ooth?
Gnap is a new group, and it's a new document. The whole idea with that one is explicitly to not assume any compatibility with ooth but solve similar problems. There are some things about how ooth works that you can't really change this point without breaking a lot of assumptions of a lot of software. And they're not, it's not broken. It's fine, but it's not ideal, and there isn't a good way around that. We actually have an opportunity to do a lot of things around the security of it that just don't really mesh well with ooth.
