The burn unit at Staten Island University Hospital started in 1998. Over the 25 years that we've been here, we've grown in our sphere and we receive patients from literally all over the tri-state area. We're starting something called teleburne, which is gonna be throughout the North Orwell system where emergency doctors can literally not only just call us but can have us speak with the patient.
