The Second Half of Communism
In the aftermath of world war one, socialist parties around the world split. The socialists came to believe that what they were about was mobilizing voters above all else. They championed public housing, public transport and subsidized medical care. These kinds of things are common parts of many countries in which socialists achieved. But communism believed that that wasn't going far enough for workers.
