The Tribalism Question in the Antigone

Odysseus takes matters into his own hands and he murders all the suitors. That doesn't solve anything because then the suitors families want to take vengeance on him. And it would completely spin out of control except that Athena intervenes, which is very unsatisfying for the audience. It makes the point that vengeance as justice is just ever escalating and interminable. The tribalism question, I think, really comes in with the final chapter of my book, which is the book about the Antigone.
