The Song Writer: A Book Review
The book was twice as long when we first proposed it to the press, and of course had to make a lot of cuts. We kept coming back to how he, you know, very playfully, but al so seriously, described himself as a song writer. Methought, well, maybe music could be a metaphor for the organization. And then it became more than just a metaphor. It really became, for us, a way to show a kind of potential re mixing of his own work,. But also thinking of it as source material for people to re mix themselves in their own work.
