The Fed's Focus on Inflation
"I think the Fed is right to focus on inflation. We've got the funds rate up and the markets projecting, they're going to go to five and a quarter," he says. "It should be on their dashboard saying, wait a second, this is damages is too much." The banking system is critically important, but it's only about 15% of any financing in the U.S., Rumsfeld adds.
