Target Date Funds - Are They Really Vanguard?
Mat: I respectfully strongly disagree with the financial adviser you talk to. Even when you hit your expected target date, you are still very heavily remaining invested in stock type choices for years and years to come after that target date. You can't just go into a bunker with savings accounts. And target date funds properly constructed do that and have very low expenses. The tax treatment is very favorable on money coming out of target date funds.
