Guarding Against a Critical Spirit and Spiteful Heart

In this episode, Mark, Mark, and Dan discuss how you should (or shouldn’t) address ongoing issues in the Southern Baptist Convention with your church.

1. You likely don’t need to unpack it to the entire church – especially as you preach.
2. You may need to carefully explain the issues to trusted leadership (elders- deacons).
3. Be sure to not ignore all the benefits of cooperation.
4. Be sure to communicate any concerns with overall desire to love our brothers and sisters and only want what is best for the kingdom.
5. Resist a critical and spiteful heart.
6. Keep it off social media.
