The Differences Between a Microscope and a Telescope
The difference between a microscope and a telescope is that usually we use telescopes to observe fairly large bright objects in the sky like stars and planets microscopes we use to observe very small objects. Each part of the objective lens of a telescope captures information or captures light from every point on the object think about that light coming from the top of the tree that light goes spreads out through lots of different angles and therefore passes through the top, middle and bottom of the lens. If I block some of those rays say I block the middle ray it doesn't actually affect the image because light is still getting through from the sides from both sides of the lens and then converging again to reach thetop of the tree
