How I Was Inspired by Chance the Rapper

I was really influenced heavily by Chance the Rapper and his whole independent movement at the time. So that first year I did three mix tapes within like nine months, put out three projects. And then after those three projects and it was, let's see, those three projects were 2015. And then I took a year to create my first album in 2016. And then 2017, January, I believe I released my first album, Canopy. Then there was like a kind of a label bidding war on like signing me. That was a very crazy time because I just, I didn't expect that at all.
