The Importance of Direct Experience
How you observe one thing is also how you observe everything through this so-called lens. Of course, that doesn't mean you can never observe anything contradicting your worldview. And those observations might refute some of your ideas about the world and replace them with new ones. But they too seem to be bounded by theory. I think it's very easy to rationalize this way of thinking where your ideas are primary. The idea of direct experience itself is a concept which had to be invented at some point in time.
