The Harvard Sports Analytics Lab is the umbrella for all sports analytics projects that we're aware of. You know, the kind of work that I specifically do is involved in measuring team ability and head-to-head match-ups or in races and so forth. In fact, I was just advising a PhD student who completed her dissertation on essentially the contribution of individual players on head-to -head team sports. Taking a very different sort of approach that is usually taken. The usual approach that's taken is essentially to examine individual player statistics and their direct contribution.
