The sugar program I think is a great example of this. The federal government cartilizes the domestic sugar market. And if you look at the price data of US sugar versus the world price, it's quite stark. People are obsessed with Mexican Coke and they import Mexican Coke because it's made with sugar not high fructose corn syrup.
