Amad: It's naive to lookat how we electrify heat and not expect the cost of electricity rise because of the infa structure that we need. The idea is reduced demand first, which means insulation and air tightness then satisfy that demand efficiently in a low carbon way. And it's always been seen as step by step, reduce demand, make these services efficient, and then apply the renewabls or decarbonite. More and more people are saying you have to do the first two steps simultaneously - there isn't enough time to delay them.
