Human Rights Are Not Just Natural

What counts as a human right is always overdetermined by a specific historical constellation. Different political orientations give them different action to these rights. Human rights are not abstract Cartesian co-guitos, they come as individuals embedded in a specific way of life. Left liberals view the very notion of way of life with suspicion; it conceals proto-fascist poison.
