The Relationship Between the Native American Choctaw Tribe and the People of Ireland
The Choctaw tribe donated $710 during 1845 to send Ireland as part of a relief fund. This was greatly appreciated by the Irish people, and after the famine the bond continued. To this day our president is declared an honorary member of theChoctaw tribe.
