Forgiveness Is a Virtue, and You Don't Have to Forgive

I don't think you have to forgive in general, I think that forgivingness is a virtue. But i don't think for some particular thing that's been done to you, i think you're entitled to choose not to forgive. In fact, so that can be psychologically unhealthy, but it can actually be perfectly psychologically fine. There are ways of not being eaten up with resentment that don't involve forgiving. So you can just put somebody out of your mind. It's hardest to not forgive move forward with some one in a relationship. You don't have to move forward with someone in a relationship if you just decide, i'm not going to continue to be in a relationship with this person
