How to Overestimate Your Budget

Every month there's a chunky-ish one off expense that comes through. If you're looking at your cash flow on a week to week basis, sure, that's a one off expense. But if you're taking a medium-term view over five years, you're going to have some appliances break over the next five years. You're better pulling those into your budget and thinking they're going to happen than not thinking they'll happen and spending the surplus. So imagine there's a spreadsheet that people can get for free.
