The Importance of Forest Station Initiatives in India
In some senses, if you are able to bring more land under plantations, that will also bring in more land under the forest cover. So this is where it gets linked up to, you know, India's climate commitments, which we can speak about subsequently as well and and raise plantation. See one of the things with this this law is that private individuals and private landowners or institutions are not incentivized enough to grow plantations because they feel the moment they grow plantations, dictionary meaning would apply and they will not be able to their land. In some senses, the government is trying to unlock land and incentivizeprivate individuals and private players to grow trees.
