I've Got a Single Mum, I'm Her Only Daughter
I feel like it's interesting that Georgia feels so much guilt about this when, in my opinion, it was clear that the mother was overstepping. I often find myself finding it easier to give family members the benefit of the doubt because they do have such huge parts of my heart. But then thinking now that there's grief involved, just like complicates things so much. And with a parent, it is really hard because there's that generational difference and there are so many like differing values. You can't come to the same conclusion on everything. That would be really hard to reconcile as someone who's grieving too.
