The source of the vermilion river is an unnamed lake in Ontario, Canada. Lake huron was named for a wyandot nation who lived there until they were killed by european disease and eventually dispersed to oklahoma. Huron is the second largest fresh water great lake, and the third largest on earth. The longest fresh water beach in the world only happens to be at caspian sea.
