David Eagleman: We have been testing this with deaf people for a while now. The real way that we... that people learn rapidly is by, for example, watching your lips. So if I'm talking to you, you know, I watch your lips and I'm feeling it on the vest. Or I vocalize. I say something and I feel it on my vest. They're doing motor output with their mouth and hearing it with their ears. And they refine the whole thing that way.
