There are a lot of ways it could be problematic for theology. One way that you fied in your theopolis essay, for example, is that it turns god's grace into a necessary act. I have some facebook friends who, for god only knows what reason, are actually kind of sympathetic to mortal collapse. But i think that they're crazy. It goes contrary to what hi theologians have traditionally held about the contingency of creation. And it's just just bad. It's just to be avoided.
