The value of the amazon preserved is probably 50 times greater than what brazil is doing with it right now. So there's enormous value in doing this, and it's just a political thing. But economics doesn't usually win the day. Usually politics is what wins or loses the day. And because economics is all about the trade offs, we're going to hear about a few sponsors of the show who make it possible to donate to a cause of the ologists choosing.
