Is There a Boy Hierarchy?

Fathers are trained by their own experience as boys not to do things which you would invite teasing or bullying. If my son doesn't fit a certain mold, will he then take heat from the boy group? And the answer is, probably yes. So there is a boy hierarchy and it's generally crafted in middle school by the earlier developing more athletic boys.
