The Future of the 6040 Bond Fund
Bonds and stocks used to be negatively correlated, but that broke down last year. Now bonds have a bigger cushion if stock markets fall, their yields can fall more. And I think they're also more attractive on a fundamental basis. If you buy a new bond today, a single bond, you can lock in that pretty high yield for some period of time. So they are maybe keeping the 6040 idea, maybe not exactly in those proportions.
