The Importance of Faith in the Afterlife
When Jesus is using these phrases, which we have been told to understand through this filter and lens of eternal conscious tournament, right? Jesus uses phrases like where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. And so those are the kinds of phrases that you will read Jesus saying in the red letters in the gospels. It's hyperbole to warn them about a very real kind of invasion or destruction. Usually it's an invading army or attacking army of some type.
