We're exploiting mechanisms familiar to anyone who's a, youve been out on a cold day and has experienced kind of a loss of tactil sensation. It's known for hundreds of years that yocooling can actually suppress sensory signals along the lengths of the pripral nerves which enervate our body. And so what we're doing is developing an engineering platform that allows us to initiate that same cooling induced blocking effect but to targeted periferal nerves deep inside the body.
