Is There Evidence? - That Can't Be Right?

Dodoris: I can't help though, but think that the whole claim about it arising under political oppression can't be right. But i will say that there ere a lot of incompatiblist philosophers in the crowd who heard this and had a similar kind of reaction. So one reaction is, well, like, anybody can do that, you know. Another reaction is, even if that is why this conception of freedom emerged, it still could be the true conception, right? You just have to elect maybe we've been progressing and  one of the things we needed to progress to discover the true conceptionfreedom is to be oppressed. That was a silver lining to being oppressed
