I think there needs to be protections for both sides. I feel like everybody's like yeah you shouldn't be allowed to not serve somebody because they're black that's super messed up but then when you write it into law it's like well you can't discriminate against somebody on the basis of their physical appearance or immutable characteristics, he says. "What happens is you end up creating a law that feels good at the time but then it sort of like opens up all of these loopholes in space for like a government that is overreaching" He thinks we as human beings draw the lines and what's correct.
